A one-piece frame encircles a deep, thick seat that curves around the edge of the armrests. The traditional legs have been replaced by a recessed plinth base for a resolutely modern look.

Barbara Modular embraces the curved aesthetic while retaining a fairly traditional shape.  A more transitional model that lives somewhere between the classic and the modern, it hopefully achieves a certain timelessness.  The depth of the seat and the subtle curves add elegance and finesse to this comfortable seat. Its different modules allow it to be (re)composed ad infinitum. A series of elements can be added, multiplied, or subtract to adapt to every desire and every requirement.

The Barbara range includes monobloc and modular sofas as well as an armchair. Its original Modular version, with its fixed seat cushion, is the ideal sofa for public spaces or more formal reception rooms. The Barbara II Modular version has a separate seat cushion, making it better for more casual use making it the ideal everyday sofa for private spaces. Both versions are also available in ‘ultra-soft’ versions, for even more plush seating comfort.

It has a wooden frame and base; the latter is also available with optional brass surround. It is available in fabrics or leathers Cat I-VI (11.5m / un.), with the option of customer’s own material.

Its optional cushions allow you to regulate the seat depth and comfort; we recommend several knifes edged 50x50 cushions (Square Cushion-M).
