The legs, consisting of a vertical monolithic form with a wide oval opening at its centre, supports a top with rounded corners.

The defining features of Taxco I Desk are its sculptural bases. These two elements positioned at each end feature generous cut-outs, creating a subtle interplay of solids and void that gives the top the appearance of floating above. One of the top’s long sides is characterised by a continuous curve, whilst the other sides retain straighter, cleaner lines.

To highlight the texture and graphic variations of the material, this desk uses wild grain oak with a subtle marquetry surface pattern reminiscent of the forma of its base. Designed as a centrepiece, Taxco I Desk marries functionality with visual presence and combines with many of our chair ranges: the « originals », the « classics », the « swivels » and, of course, the « office ». 

The Taxco range includes tables in different dimensions as well as consoles and a desk. Other dimensions, wood species or precious veneers are available on request.
